Building Custom Reports

All Cleot reports use the Touchpoints with Campaigns custom report type. You can create your own reports to answer specific business questions.

Creating a Report

  1. Go to the Reports tab in Salesforce
  2. Click New Report
  3. Search for Touchpoints with Campaigns in the report type selector
  4. Click Start Report

Report Ideas

Channel Mix Attribution

Goal: See how revenue is distributed across marketing channels.

  1. Set format to Summary
  2. Group by Campaign: Type
  3. Add columns: Opportunity Amount (SUM), Opportunity Amount Won (SUM), Record Count
  4. Filter: Status = Attributed, Active = true

Quarterly Pipeline Influence

Goal: Track marketing's contribution to pipeline by quarter.

  1. Group by Touch Date (Calendar Quarter)
  2. Add columns: Opportunity Amount (SUM), Opportunity Amount Won (SUM), Record Count
  3. Filter: Status = Attributed, Active = true
  4. Add a bar chart comparing pipeline vs. won amounts

Single Account Deep Dive

Goal: See all marketing touches for a specific account.

  1. Filter: Account = your target account
  2. Group by Opportunity, then Campaign
  3. Add columns: Contact, Touch Date, Attribution Weight, Opportunity Amount

Dashboards

You can add any report to a Salesforce Dashboard:

  1. Go to Dashboards and create or edit a dashboard
  2. Click Add Component
  3. Select your report
  4. Choose the visualization type

Create a "Marketing Attribution" dashboard that combines 4-6 key reports for a single-page view of your attribution data.
