Installing the Cleot Attribution App
Prerequisites
- A Salesforce org (Enterprise, Unlimited, or Developer Edition)
- System Administrator access to install packages
- The "Marketing User" permission enabled for users who manage Campaigns
Install the Package
Open the installation URL below while logged in as a System Administrator.
Production or Developer Edition:

Sandbox:

We recommend installing in a Sandbox first to verify everything works with your existing configuration before deploying to production.
Installation Steps
- Open the appropriate URL above
- Select Install for All Users or Install for Admins Only (you can adjust permissions later)
- Click Install
- If prompted to approve third-party access, check the box and click Continue
- Wait for the installation to complete (you'll receive an email confirmation)
What Gets Installed
The package includes:

| 5 default Attribution Models | Linear, First Touch, Last Touch, U-Shaped, Time Decay |
| Attribution Configuration (Lightning page) | Admin UI for managing all settings |
| Touchpoints with Campaigns (report type) | Custom report type for building attribution reports |
| Campaign Attribution Reports (report folder) | Contains 3 starter reports: Campaign Performance Summary, Channel Mix, Monthly Trend |
| Touchpoint Access (permission set) | Grants access to all Cleot objects and fields |

The attribution engine is disabled by default after installation. No touchpoints will be created until you explicitly activate it during post-install setup.
After Installation
Proceed to Post-Install Setup to configure permissions, add the app to your navigation, and activate the engine.
